Dances With Winnebagos

Living and Working the Mobile RV Life

After Brookings, we were spoiled by beautiful surroundings and were not in the mood for the usual ugly old RV park consisting of cracked pavement and old trailers packed close together. So we were fortunate that our next stop is Grants Pass, Oregon and the cozy Riverpark RV Resort with 45 grassy sites right on the banks of the fast-flowing Rogue River.

We ended up with a site almost overhanging the river, allowing us to hear the water as we sleep.

We’re going to be spending the Thanksgiving holiday here, and we’re looking forward to a quiet holiday weekend while most of the “civilized” world goes berserk stocking up for Christmas. Both Kellyn and I have completed almost all of our Christmas shopping, so with the pressure off we’ll just be trying to stay out of everyone else’s way. That may not be easy, because sometimes it seems the crazies just seek us out.

We have a couple of trips to make for work while we’re here, so having the Medford airport only 30 minutes away will be useful.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!
